In college I interned for an a m a z i n g woman. She ran a über successful wedding planning business and was transforming her knowledge into an awesome online resource for brides. Staring at pictures of weddings, engagement shoots, flowers, cakes, dresses etc. everyday was not a bad life. I learned a lot about what I liked and what I didn’t and was able to day dream all day about what I wanted for my future wedding.
Until recently I thought I knew. I wanted a beachy themed wedding with a palate of navy, hot pink and ivory. My groomsmen would wear white pants, pink Oxford’s, blue blazers and vineyard vines ties. The bridemaids would wear blue dresses from J. Crew and carry pink flowers. However, lately I have found myself being attracted to the total oppostite..rustic weddings with a color palate of greys, browns and cornflower yellow.
I’m far away from planning my wedding..heck I’m far away from even being engaged (#boyfriendless) but it doesn’t hinder my vision. These are the pictures that are inspiring me today:
